CREAMY CLASSIC GUACAMOLE RECIPE

THINGS DOWN WITH A CREAMY, DREAMY GUACAMOLE.
The avocado meets its summer match as a tortilla dip or a cold appetizer pizza
topping
in this creamy Guacamole Sauce Recipe.
Ingredients:
2 - Ripe avocados
1 - Small onion, finely chopped
1 - Clove garlic, minced (use garlic press for stronger flavor)
1 - Ripe tomato, chopped
1 - Lime, juiced
1 - Radish
1/3 cup - Chopped fresh cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Peel and mash avocados in a medium serving bowl. Stir in onion,
garlic, tomato, lime juice, cilantro, salt and pepper.
Season with remaining lime juice and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill for half an hour to blend flavors.
Garnish with a sprig of cilantro and sliced radish. Serve with
tortilla chips.
Cold Appetizer Pizza Serving Suggestion:
Spread the guacamole sauce over a pre-baked, cooled pizza
shell. Garnish with sprigs of cilantro,
diced radishes, red onions and black
olives. Cut into finger-sized or mini-slice servings as a chilled appetizer.
HOT BARRIO GUACAMOLE RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 avocado
1 heaping tablespoon diced tomatoes
1 heaping tablespoon diced Spanish or red onion
1 heaping tablespoon of jalapeño, seeded and diced
1 heaping tablespoon diced cilantro
1/2 of a fresh lime
Salt and fresh-cracked pepper to taste
1 heaping tablespoon fresh pomegranate seeds.
Preparation:
Dice avocado into small chunks and place in a serving bowl. Add tomatoes, onions, jalapeño and cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over mixture. Sprinkle
with salt and pepper to taste. Fold together gently. Add pomegranate seeds. Mix gently and serve immediately.
